At YTSnapIt, accessible from https://yt.puthupage.com/, we believe in radical
transparency and user privacy. This document outlines how our application operates and what technical data may
be processed.
1. Client-Side URL Processing
All URL parsing, video ID extraction, and thumbnail resolution checks occur strictly within your web browser using client-side JavaScript.
- We do not transmit the YouTube URLs or video IDs you enter to our web server.
- We do not store your search queries, download requests, or usage history in any database.
- We do not require you to create an account, register, or provide personal details.
2. Direct Third-Party Image Requests
When you submit a valid YouTube video link, your web browser sends direct HTTP GET requests to YouTube's content
delivery network (i.ytimg.com) to load thumbnail image files for preview. Because these requests
occur directly between your device and Google/YouTube servers, your interaction with those images is subject to
Google's Privacy
Policy.
3. Web Hosting & Server Logs
Like virtually all website hosting providers, our web hosting provider (Hostinger) automatically generates standard technical access logs when files (such as HTML pages, CSS stylesheets, and images) are loaded from our server. These logs may record:
- Your Internet Protocol (IP) address
- Browser type and version
- Date and timestamp of request
- Referring webpage address
These logs are collected for network security, DDoS mitigation, and server maintenance purposes. They are not linked to any personal identity or submitted YouTube query.
4. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising Policy
YTSnapIt may partner with third-party advertising networks, including Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve advertisements on this website.
- Google DoubleClick DART Cookie: Google uses cookies to serve ads to visitors based on their prior visits to this site and other websites on the Internet.
- Personalized Ads Opt-Out: Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- Third-Party Vendor Opt-Out: Users may also opt out of participating third-party ad vendors' cookies by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page at networkadvertising.org or the Digital Advertising Alliance at aboutads.info/choices.
Our advertising partners may also include networks such as Adsterra. These third-party ad servers or networks use technology in their respective advertisements and links that appear on YTSnapIt, which are sent directly to your browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs.
5. GDPR and CCPA / CPRA Rights
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or California, you possess specific data protection rights:
- Right to Know / Access: You have the right to request what personal information, if any, is collected or processed.
- Right to Deletion: Because YTSnapIt does not maintain user accounts, profiles, or databases, no personal identifiers are permanently retained by us.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale / Sharing: We do not sell or share your personal data to third parties. Third-party advertising cookies can be managed via our cookie banner and browser controls.
6. Absence of User Accounts & Persistent History
YTSnapIt does not feature user profiles, session cookies, or download tracking. Every page visit is stateless and isolated.
7. Security Measures
We employ modern security practices to protect website visitors:
- HTTPS encryption enforced for all assets and traffic.
- Strict Content Security and framing protections.
- Safe DOM scripting APIs (avoiding unsafe HTML interpolation) to prevent cross-site scripting (XSS).
8. Updates to this Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. Any revisions will be reflected on this page with an updated timestamp.
